Let it grow
Come in with about a quarter inch of growth, roughly two weeks. Shorter hair will not lift cleanly, and longer hair pulls more than it needs to.
Skip the heat
Hold off on hot showers, saunas, tanning, and anything with retinol on the area for a day or two beforehand. Calm skin waxes best.
Give it a day
For about 24 hours after, skip the gym, pools, and hot tubs. Loose clothing and a plain moisturizer are all freshly waxed skin wants.
